Medal Group-Can anyone help with info?

Recently bought this medal group of North West Frontier medal with clasp, 1939-45 star, Burma star, India medal and War medal to 2nd Lieutenant G.L Bown, 2-4, Bombay Gunners. I have entered his details on Forces War Records but nothing and can find no references specifically to the Bombay Gunners in WW2 either. Does anyone know how to access records or medal information which might shine some light into this group? Cheers Tim.

Nice group.
Cant help with the "Bombay Gunners" as it inst something I've come across before.
He is mentioned a couple of times in the gazette though, in the Indian army promotions ect, I don't know if you've seen it or not?

I believe the regiment to be: 4th Bombay Grenadiers.

2nd Battalion, 4th Bombay Grenadiers served in Burma during WWII. A very nice officer's group.
