    Default medal ID help

    First time poster.

I'm trying to ID a medal from my grandfathers shadowbox. My father (who recently passed away) placed all of his fathers medals/awards in a shadow box a number of years ago and I have recently gotten interested in knowing the history of the medals in his collection. I will try and upload a picture. Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum! It is a WWI Era Society of the 1st Division Medal: issued to members of the Society of the First Division, as A.E.F. World War Veterans. This medal was produced by Bailey, Banks, and Biddle (BB&B) around the time of the dedication of the 1st Division Monument in Washington DC, a couple of years after the close of the First World War.
On the Reverse it has the names of 9 actions this division took part in.
