Default Order of the Garter Lighter?

    Hello All,

First of all, happy New Year to everyone!

I came across the lighter and thought I recognized the symbol for the Order of the Garter. It seems to match up, though I have two concerns: 1) the buckle is normally on the other side, and 2) I cannot find any recipients with the initials "NF" or "FN".

Anyone have thoughts as to the Garter connection and who the recipient may be?

    Cheers,

    Brandon

Hi Brandon, I may be wrong, but this seems to be more likely a livery/coat of arms emblem. as the belt and crown is used widely in them.
or it may just be a nice monogramed lighter.
