    Good evening
I have purchased this lovely group of First World War campaign medals and as the Centenary of the end of that conflict fast approaches I thought I'd share them with the forum. They were awarded to a Private A. Nicholls (G-1382) of the East Kent Regiment. This is my first grouping from the first world war and may not be the last. I would love to find a group with the 1914 star so will keep looking. I know you will like these as much as I do.

A great group and being named it is often possible to find out a lot about the recipient.
    Regards,

Thank you for the advice Oz, I already have the quite common Eisernes Kreuz addiction which has no cure either. But then again who needs a cure for this fantastic hobby that is keeping the history alive.

You should find that lot interesting to research... he was possibly a 1914 volunteer, but not necessarily so. The east Kent's were sent to India as well as France. Thanks for showing.

Thanks Joel, I loved them when I saw them as they have a connection with Kent where I live and back in the day my Grandmother worked for the NAAFI with The Buffs. So they stood out at the dealers. I would like to collect more East Kent Regiment WWI medals in the future.
