US Combat Infantry Badges

    G'day All

    Thought I'd show these in detail, I believe these are WW2 period.

    I am not 100% sure about this info but I was told that the cid badges from ww2 had the sterling mark on the right side of the badge and the writing was larger ,this would be more like a korean area badge.

    I'm not sure also, but I have seen this type for sale as WW2 type on the net, you are most likely right, I'll see if there are other replies.
    One clue maybe in the patent no.s on the clutch back.

    I do not see any markings on the clutches but they are relics so hard to tell.

    I can see something on the right one the G in sterling, and yes relics and difficult to see, don't clean them back for my sake please
