Looking for militaria from HKB 31./977, HKB 32./977, HKB 38./977 or militaria related to Norway
Hello Vegar, it looks like a modern strike to me, doesnt mean its fake just not a ww2 period medal. I started to collect named us medals and noticed after a while they are hard to come by and expensive for the higher awards.
Hope this helps
Rory
Thanks for that Rory, I owe you one , I'll look for something else

No problem, dont get me wrong i have some us decorations together in a frame which look good for display, just a ww2 period dsc was a bit too expensive for me
Vegar, with US medals if they don't show the pin attachment in the reverse photos there is usually a reason as this is one of the first things to look for in dating US stuff. That part is hard to fake but it can be done. I agree with everyone else in saying this is a more recent medal. If the price was not too bad I would have it in my collection.
Thanks
Burt
Sent you a PM Burt.

Looks like a very recent Graco strike to me...If you're going to buy it, I wouldn't spend more than $40-50 for it...Like everyone else said, named DSC's or WWII or earlier fetch a pretty high price, so if you're looking for a filler of sorts until you get a named or earlier version, I'd say go for it
