Default Victory World War II (WW2) Medal - Medallic Art Co.

Received a WW2 Victory Medal in the mail today. This one exhibits a slot brooch on the ribbon, which makes it a little more special. However, anyone looking for these should note these also came in crimp brooch styles as well. These medals were also restruck/reissued from the original dies, like other post war campaign and victory medals. Note restrikes will show black wash that is used to enhance the worn features, as the original dies were well used when reused decades later for the restrikes. Restrikes presented as such will be in a flatter, bagged packaging vs. the type of box shown below.

That's a real mint one. I think I have one of these tucked away somewhere. Under appreciated IMHO. Had the chance to pick up a half dozen or so various WWII US medals in the boxes a few months back for next to nothing. Kicking myself for passing them up..
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated
