Default WW1 RAMC Military Cross group

WW1 British Military Cross group to Lieut JA Liley, RAMC comprising of MC engraved "JA Liley, Lieut RAMC, Oct 4th 1916", 1914-15 Star, War Medal and Victory Medal, mounted on a bar complete with ribbons. Plus a set of miniature medals of the same. Complete in a case. Listed in the London Hospital Gazette 1917 "Temporary Lieutenant James Arthur Liley, R.A.M.C. He attended the wounded in the open, and in the front trenches, under very heavy shell-fire. His coolness under heavy fire had a great moral effect on the men". Other research confirms he was wounded himself in 1917.

Goes up for auction at work on Friday.

    Cheers, Ade.
