Hi Cameron! Great link! I am made up to finally know the specifics on these items I have had for years not knowing otherwise! Thanks for researching this! Cheers! Sean.

Beaten to it with regards to the stable belt! It is indeed the stable belt of the Royal Hospital Chelsea.

The central badge on the belt plate is also used as the buttons on the scarlets and blues. (Scarlets are the long red coats worn by the Chelsea Pensioners and blues are their tunics)

I was their Ambulance and minibus driver for about 7 years in the late 90's>early 00s. Generally a great bunch of guys.
Just had a look through the Book of Remembrance, awful lot of names on there that I remember from my time on staff.

    Regards etc
