This is actually post ww2, the jump master badge was not officially created until the 50s. Still a nicely marked wing.

Unfortunately yes it's a common misconception that these are ww2 since they are pinback and sterling marked. I had a similar set a couple years ago pinback sterling that was from a guy who served with the 10th Special Forces in the early 50s when they were stationed in germany
Well, it is still a nice piece I guess. But I will now have to find a WW2 version. Live and learn. Thanks for the help.

Just a note the ww2 version will not have the star on the top, during ww2 if multiple combat jumps were earned they added the stars to the badges over top of the wings.
