Default WWII medals - bronze star, croix de guerre & purple heart

I was able to go & get better pictures taken of these 3 medals. I am unsure if the seller will part with them at this time. For now I will settle for the honor to shoot pictures with the dagger, box and capture papers. We are going to take time to discuss whether the family wants to buy the dagger back from me to keep within the future generations or if they want to part with his medals & are willing to let me be the caretaker. Either way it will be difficult. The positive is we spent hours talking about the Vet's life and I learned his wife of 98 years is alive in a nursing home but not doing so well. I will add and share more in the coming weeks and months as I learn more. More to come but thought I would post pictures for now.
