1952 90mm ordnance question
My uncle was in the navy in the late 1960's and he brought back this 13 and a half inch ordnance. It is stamped on the side. Lot Yem 4-8 1952 90mm HVTP-T M333 and on the bottom is has letters INFRT. It use to be painted baby blue. Any info would be sweet on this heavy ordnance. sorry no pictures just yet. the top half seems to be aluminum and bottom half steel. He was on the USS Holder.

Re: 1952 90mm ordnance question
The bottom inscription reads "INERT".
It is a dummy or training round - that is why it was originally
painted blue - to signify non lethality.........
