German concrete stockmine

Hi Guys, just got back from Beltring yesterday afternoon. Here is a nice buy I made. Picked up for £20. The ZZ42 Fuze is inert and dated 1943.

markings on the stick

The markings on the stick: I am a bit troubled by these. I would not expect to see a large eagle like this? Perhaps a WaA mark at best? Can anyone else add any info on the sticks and the markings on them, if any?

Hello Ade,

Thanks for your reaction. I understand your worries but I am not so troubled as you because the stick was found with some others in the same stock as the concrete heads and I was able to buy one of very limited sticks available for really not much money. Making sticks like this with these markings would cost more these days. I must say I have never seen any of these since and only the heads without stick.

I would love to see some other examples ofcours!
