2cm flak 38 API cutaway
This is my first Gem i have managed to buy off of ebay. All the way from Russia!
Its a pretty clean armour piercing incendiary round thats had a third of the shell removed to reveal the internals. Whoever did this job choose this example specifically as a look to back would reveal this round has lived a rough life. But on display that side doesn’t matter!
The yellow painted cavity within the AP projectile would of stored Phosphorus. Giving the round the incendiary kick. This round will be posted again on the collection thread but i felt it was unique enough to be posted individually.
I have included one photo with the charge bag (i filled it with rice if you were wondering) in the casing and a complete round. Not sure if it looks cluttered with the charge bad added or not.
