Article about: Found this today thought I would show, 105MM MK6 44 marked practice drill shell 35 inches tall and solid wood weighing 23.5 approximately pounds. The wife liked it cause it matched our kitch

    Found this today thought I would show, 105MM MK6 44 marked practice drill shell 35 inches tall and solid wood weighing 23.5 approximately pounds.
    The wife liked it cause it matched our kitchen wood work so I found a spot for it hope you all like it too.

    Perfect match with the kitchen cupboards Eric,so that's how to get things past the better half.
    It's very nice mate.The wear ring around the top is interesting,i guess it's where the round made contact with the breech when being loaded so prelonging the life of the round.
    It's a cool piece.

    Thanks for the kind word guys. The mark you see on the cone is a for a tool to remove or install the fuze.

    Nice dummy,but is it 50mm or 75mm?

    Now that you ask Pete it is bigger than 50mm so I guess it is 75mm we are not too good with metric here thanks for the help!

    Great piece Eric. - Matches the rest of the woodwork very well !

    Even if one of these matched our kitchen cabinetry, it would be
    impossible to convince my wife that it should be
    displayed there.........!
