German Werkzeug Cartridges 'TOOL' Cartridges... These ctgs. differ from the common dummy round, the Werkzeug is a TOOL, it is more like a guage used by ordnance personel to get functional test in loading, extraction and ejection.. The Werkzeug may have been used to take the weapon apart.. I have three (3) variations in markings there were four.. RLM Reichluftfhaerministerium (Air Ministry)...WL Wehrmacht Luftwaffe (Air Force)...WH Wehrmacht Heer (army)...HEER (Army)... I have never seen one German Navy marked KM Kriegsmarine..
