Default 88mm flak fuse - Munitions Crate

Since my Oma was a German Citizen and worked in a Munitions Plant that was bombed by allied forces I have always had interest in field gear and munitions. When My Opa (US Soildier) married her after the war she worked soldering circuit boards for CB Radios at EF Johnson so she was a plant worker her whole life even in US but she always loved working. Here is one of 3 crates I took pictures of this weekend I am using in my war room.

Wood crate for 88mm Flak Gun Fuses. This box held the “Zt. Z. S/30 Kurz” type fuses. A bullet that appears to be .50 caliber entered the bottom of the box, went through the metal lining and was stopped by the box top. The wood tray inside that held the fuses is gone with the cut recess circles. You can see the waffen amt stamps faintly depressed into box.

Salty and cool for displaying other artifacts.

Neat!!!! These are great for setting up a display.
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them
