    M24 cap, m43 stick. You can find an appropriate stick on ebay fairly easily.

    But wouldn’t a m43 stick have a (19)43 or later stamp?

    I am mistaken, I did not see hole in end of stick for ceramic ball pull. Sorry for confusion. Then you may be able to find appropriate caps for bottom. Again sorry for the confusion.

    It appears to be missing not only the screw-on cap, but the threaded end cap as well. Base caps are easy to find, especially in relic condition. The threaded end, as an integral part of the stick, may be harder to locate. Finding an entirely new - and complete - stick may prove easier, although not necessarily all that cost effective.
