    Default Awesome birthday presents

    Hi guys

Couldn't wait to show you these.

My wife got me them for my birthday today......what a little sweetie !!

    A Bren magazine
    A LE mag
    A 20rnd Thompson mag
    a 30rnd Thompson mag

    !!!!!!!

Not sure if they are WW2 era or post war repros but, they are awesome all the same.

    Here they are

A close up of some of the markings.

The LE mag has a WD arrow and a Crown.

The 20rnd Thompson has 'The Seymour Prouction Co.' stamped on it very feintly.

The 30 rnd Thompson has 'SW Co' stamped on it. It was also covered in a thick layer of VERY old grease so I got the impression it had been in a storage box for quite some time.

And lastly the Bren mag. WD arrows again amongst other things.

I am dead pleased with them

    Hope you like them

    Cheers

Don't know her, but I can tell that your wife is awesome! I think there is a good chance the Enfield is war era. Makes getting a year older alittle easier to take.

Thanks guys She is a little beauty

As for the mags, the 30rnd Thompson is in very good condition due to the fact it was covered in a thick layer of grease. Judging by the state of the grease, I reckon there's a good chance this too is WW2 era

The Lee Enfield mag is a No 3 mag from a Lee Enfield No.1 Mk3. I would say the 30 round Thompson mag is a Ex Lend Lease mag from Russia so deffinatly WW2. The painted mag is probably British issue and used in the far east.
