Nice rounds Pete, but these are the belted magnums I prefer!

    First picture, l. to r.:

30mm ADEN Low Velocity case Type B
30mm ADEN Low velocity light Alloy case Type B by ROF Radway Green
30mm ADEN Low Velocity light alloy case Type B by Kynoch
.303 light alloy case for comparison

    Second picture, l. to r.:

    30mm ADEN (Inert) HE
    30mm ADEN drill
    30mm ADEN Type C case 119mm long
    30/20mm ADEN
.303 light alloy case for comparison.

The service round used the Type J case.

Have you got some ADEN 25mm rounds? I used to work on the gun pods that held the ADEN 25mm on the Harrier 2. Never got see the gun or the ammo as they were a complete failure!

No, unfortunately not, as the only cannon rounds I collect are British military experimental types and the ADEN 25mm fired standard 25mm rounds.

They spent a lot of money on the 25mm ADEn but as you say, it went nowhere!
