British 303 ammo box

Hello all,
I picked this up to day. I had never seen one before let alone in the states so I grabbed it. Overall pretty nice condition with original spam can inside and 104 links of the chain for ammo. Appears to be for air force use.1961 Production date
I know the wooden boxes are pretty common but its it common find it with the span can, cloth handle, spent chain ect? I don't own to many ammo cans so this one if definitely going on the shelf.

I think this would have been for the Vickers gun and dated 1960 and produced by Radway Green. The Mk8z Is for Vickers use and in an emergency the Bren. The links are a red herring as they are NATO 7.62 links for the GPMG (AKA FN MAG/M240).

I found an extremely similar one to that, same box as that brown one you have but it was for 7.62 blanks, was found on the outskirts of an abandoned airfield
