Is this an captured K98k?

Hello Forum,
There is this K98 for sale, the Seller claims its an Jugoslavian production. It could be an Zastava M48A, but the 44 with the Kyrillic letters makes me think it may be an captured, German produced gun, which has been restamped. What do you think?
Any Opinions and Informations would be greatly appreciated.

The rifle in question was never captured/acquired from the Germans, it is an M48 rifle produced in post-war, communist Yugoslavia. Contrary to what some 'salesmen' have said, they did NOT use German tooling or parts for these. Oddly enough, they saw fit to design and produce a bolt-action rifle for issue in a time when select-fire or at least semiautomatic rifles had already taken hold years earlier.

This particular one is a somewhat later variant (M48A), using stamped sheet metal for the trigger group and magazine floor plate instead of the original milled components.

Hi there! The PRODUCE44 stamp stands for "producer nr44" inside the yoguslavian factory. It is not a late war one

PREDUCEKE 44 was a facility of apparently significant but otherwise little known scope. There were other facilities that might have produced these independent of other facilities, and their stamp can be found on M24/47 rifles that were refurbished and repaired by them. The other stamp on the side of the barrel shank stands for 'Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.' These were all produced in the 1950s.
