Article about: Guys, This is the second one of these I have found. My pal says these are rare, maybe not! It is for the 10 liter Spreng Buchse 37. It held 4 of these bounding mines used to deliver chemical

Interesting box, Jock.
It looks to be good for storing things in, so they would be useful
to have around, and not get thrown away or burned !
I think your friend is correct, as I'm sure any WWII
German military box would be rare.
Any other markings, or just on the top?

Only on the top the paper lables are long gone!
Ammo crates over here are pretty common as zee Germans are and always have been good at recycling.
