    Default fuse ID ?

found this shell fuse at my local antiwues store, looks like it survived the detonation, any info on it? ( i knwo nothing about shells)

on the top there is 3/16, R, V.S.M, (what looks to be) 80IVA, 583A, and a veryfaint F right on the tip, then on the base there is, V.S.M, 3/16, 583A, (bad stamp but what seems to be) 80IVA again but there is also a circle stamped over the I.

what made it difficult to id was the missing ring and also that is has aluminium parts, these were only made in aluminium initially, not bad for somthing found in a £1 bin
