Hey guys, I thought i would share a recent purchase of mine. Probably my second last purchase of 2019! A German made 13.2mm HE Hotchkiss round for the Hotchkiss machine guns they captured.

Its quite a interesting round with a lot going on. I like the fuze in particular given how small it is (1P coin for reference!) and i couldn’t miss out a comparison next to my favourite round the 20X138B!

here is a run down of all the markings per part.

Fuze
Type = AZ1532 (interchangeable with the Mauser 13mm MG131 HE round i assume)
Made = 1942
Manufacturer = eds = Zündapp-Werke GmbH
Plus a Luftwaffe ordnance mark also suggesting the MG131 connection

Projectile
Made = 1944
Manufacturer = eet = Ulmer Scraubenfabrik C.Rauch
Batch 1a
And a unreadable Waffenamt stamp

Casing
Made= 1944
Manufacturer = eej = Märkisches Walzwerk GmbH
Batch 3i
Waffenamt stamp 787 = same as manufacturer
And 132 St
