I bought this off of the ebay in an effort to pretty up this incorrectly stenciled m24. Supposedly it's from Kurland. Any thoughts or opinions?

I thought it may have been an RGD sleeve because of it's size, but after researching it, I haven't found reference of a frag sleeve that was smooth.

It doesn't work for me. Better to find a real one to put the sleeve on to.
Refinish the sleeve, or beat up the repro to match.........
    Regards,

That's what I was thinking. What was the original color?

The smooth fragemetation sleeve for the M24 Grenade was originally an SS only manufacture however when they were issued they were used by Wehrmacht units as well , this one is clearly a ground dug one hence the poor match with the brand new looking grenade,
