German Munition Codes

Hello Gents..a little out of my arena of collecting..but wanted to get your thoughts on a recent acquirement that was bestowed upon me...which I would like to make a pinned thread here..if warranted useful.

I have 350 German munition coded designations

Example :....... " ac " - Carl Walgher, Zella Mehlis, Thuringia
......................" bgt " - Eugene Muller , Pyrotechnic Werk , Vienna
......................" czn " - Emil Busch AG , Rathenow, Brandenburg

about 350 codes with abbreviation , producer name and location of city and country. Some from the Czech Republic and Austria.

If there is a use for these,..please let me know ..and I will make the effort to transfer to this forum.

It's great stuff Larry, it should be a sticky in a few of the forums, here, in world firearms, and in the field gear section, if not others.

From the three you posted, one is a gun maker, the second ammo I suppose, and the third is a well known maker of binoculars and other optics (field gear).

I'd love to see the list, save it to the computer, etc.

Can't get too much of this reference info.
