    Default Help identify 37mm projectile?

    Hi all
In trying to id a 37mm projectile. It's solid steel, weighs 1lb 10oz, threaded for missing nose piece, has small tracer pocket at rear, shows 12 rifling grooves.
Any ideas where I could find a photo or drawing of an intact example, I'd like to make a replacement nose for it...
    Thanks

It is a U.S. M51 series 37mm projo for the AT gun from WWII era. There are a few variations of these, due to manufacturing and design improvments. The WWII artillery ammo manual shows drawings.
