Help to identify this shell?what year is it?

Hi guys.Could anyone please help me with this shell that I got today?I need to know what year it is and where it came from.Thanks.

I think you will find its a WW1 French 75mm.

I have just compared it to my one, and I can confirm thats what it is, for the Canon de 75 modèle 1897 and a few other guns. Its one of the most widely used artillery rounds of the Great War.

Thanks for the information.Well, thought it's gonna be ww2, but I will keep it anyway, nice 100 year old piece of history.
