Help! P345 and “avu” maker mark shells required!
Ok to satisfy my own knowledge of this specific ordnance maker I need your guys help!
This maker has made a few of my 20x138B (20mm flak) cartridges and i have managed to work out some of the trends that follwed their production. They also made 7,92 mauser.
What I want to learn.
When did they stop using the Waffenamt stamp WaA294 and use their own factorys waffenamt stamp of WaA73
When did they switch over from brass to copper washing for shell casings.
What type of casing would they have used after copper washing as i doubt they could of done that technique for very long. So when did they stop using copper washing?
What range of ordnance did they make?
What i want help with from you guys is for you to check your inert ammo , especially 7.92 mauser and other small rounds and see if any of your items have the stamps of p345 and “avu”
Thanks for the help in this mini project!
