Help WW2 shell

I need info on this WW2 shell. Caliber 165mm, height 60mm. Which weapon use it?

Is it made of metal?
is the neck 165 or the bottom?

On the left is a 2 inch mortar illuminating minus the tail fins. The Cartridge case (Shells are the projectiles!) is as you say an Italian Cart case (probably the primer looks German) but they did not have a 165mm calibre that I know of.

A picture of the case mouth to see if it is belled would be good.
