    Are we talking about bullets, artillery rounds, or what. I'm guessing it's for some 20mm cannon or something like that. One the soldiers rolled around to aim and they pushed to move it. A truck moved it the most.

    not sure, they measure about 1 7/8" across the rim

    We need a side view picture of the case and measurements in millimeters of the case length and inside diameter of the case neck...Pete.

    I think they are "trench art" as they have been formed, cut and used as candle holders. here is a side view pic.

    I can`t help you,sorry,they could be 37mm anti-tank shells,but I`m just guessing.
