    These are British Radway Green made and 1977 dated. The circle with cross indicated NATO standard ammo. You are correct on the 7.62mm.

    The gunmetal coloured snap links are also a useful indicator smcelv. Yikes - memories of kneeling full body weight (plus bergen and beltkit) on those in the middle of soggy training exercises. Yuk!
