    Default Latest find, a sectioned cartridge.

    Heres an interesting find i received with some other ordnance, its headstamped aux 10 S 41,i think its a armour piercing incendury 7.62 german dated 1941,the paper label is german and dated 1942,please chime in with your thoughts,thanks Colin.

    be careful,those black squares have a habit of igniting if they get hot.

    If it is 7.62 then its post war, i'd say it more likely to be 7.92mm

    Yes it is a 7.92x57mm Pmk (Phosphorgeschoss mit Kenn, API) It appears to be on an odiginal German board and so is rather desirable. A very good find.

    Tell me more Tony as i can find no reference to that size of cartridge,what were its uses and weapon if you would be so kind.

    I believe Tony meant to say 7.92x57 and just made a typo,did you check the site I gave you in post #2?
