I believe what Ade and Steve say, because i am non expert and i don't have an opinion on my own for these items !
Unfortunately,my grandpa passed away a few years ago,so i can't ask exactly when and where he bought it :-(
I made a search for these repros, and found two differences from mine
1)The wooden handles of them are marked, mine isn't
2)The handles have a dark color, but the color of mine is brighter
Could these differences mean something ?

Thanks so much for your information guys, your experience has no match !
    (Forgive me for my English...)

Hi Spyros, your English is good.

The grenade is fake. No doubt.

    Cheers, Ade.

Its a very nice M24 grenade, very well made but as stated a copy. Few things tell the diffrence: the cap at the bottom is steel on your copy, this should be made of a sort of aloy on the early model. The string and ball are diffrent from an original, different shape ball; yours is to round. The font off the text on the grenade itself is the wrong font. And last the edge of the grenade head, where it is folded around is the wrong way round.
Hope this makes some sense. I toke some pictures of one of my M24's to show.
This one is dated 1938, but doesn't have the reverse RR. As I know for fact these are original it shows not all had the reverse first R.

An original M24 goes for around 100 euros, but if you are looking for a realy nice example with text they can even go as much as 400 euros a piece.
