My KwK 42 'Project'

My fun collecting project over the Summer has been odds'n'ends for the KwK42. The rusty shellcase came from the W&P show and by a stroke of luck was quickly joined by a timber box from the Vimoutiers Fair ( the day after seeing the Panther at Mont Ormel ). At the same time, a fellow forum member hunted out a deactivated AP projectile.

OK, the box is for HE, the shell is AP, but I'm sure we'll fix that in due course. Here's the result......










Of course, I'll be on the lookout for any other bits..........

Thank you ! Yes, I must say that spotting the box, asking the price and finding it was much cheaper than I hoped, and carrying it out of the market over my shoulder was a memorable 'collecting moment' for me.....
