Mystery shell casing

Does anyone know what kind of shell this is? Thank you. I cannot see any markings on the bottom.

If the length of the case is 137mm and the inside diameter of the opening is 25mm then it is a 25x137mm Oerlikon.....Pete.

It is a practice M793, 25mm shellcase.

If you mean it is a practice case because of the groove in the case,that is a link positioning groove and is standard on all of these cases....Pete.

Nope it's practice as there are no markings on the base.
