Hey guys, so I picked this up yesterday for 10 dollars, mainly because it looked interesting. It's dated 1970, with a fill date of 1972. Now to my main question since I can't seem to find any info on this type of ammo box, nor the gun it seems. If anyone has info on this and the gun that fired the ammo, I'd love to know.

    Thanks in advance!

    Take care,

    George

$10 is about right for over here as they are common.

    Cheers, Ade.

Thanks Ade, now one more question, would there have been a little 'lock' system for the latches? it seems like there should be something to lock the latches down

I think they can have wire seals applied to them.

    Cheers, Ade.

Thanks for the info on that, it did come with one still on there but it looked like someone had bent a paper clip. Still have it so I might as well put it back on

the wire seal does not look like a paper clip
it is wire with like a stwisted wire around it
it is nearly imposable to break and has to be cut
it has also a metal crimp seal to join it in a loop
so mabe you do only have a paper clip
    cheers ian
