    Default New in box 3 inch drill round 1943 dated.

    Thought I would show my new in box 3 inch drill round 1943 dated with a Navy anchor. I have never seen one in a box before so I had to have it.
    Last two pics is of it with my other three. Hope you all like.

    Thanks Steve I found it interesting that a heater corp made it, but I know this type of adaptation during the war was not uncommon for manufacturers to switch over to war supplies.

    Well, I was most disappointed to see it was a 3" Drill Round, NOT a 3" round drill ......... bah, I thought it was "army speak"!

    Very neat piece! Manufactured in Brooklyn N.Y., and sent to Iona Island N.Y. (which is ripped on the box). Sweet dude!
