odd finds

hello all , has anyone any idea what these are ? they are stamped on the fins
F D Ltd 1910 . Z F D Ltd 1935. and F D Ltd 1940 they appear to be made of aluminium and are roughly 3" in length . thanks

Nice 2inch mortar fins and in good nick if they were ground dug. Where there's one there will be more, but just be careful as they may well be some unexploded ordnance in the area as well.
