    Hi guys!

I'm new to this wonderful and really interesting website and I'm here to search some help to identify the right version, and possibly its value too, of this beautiful Flak 88 shell that I found some days ago while cleaning my grandfather's house...

The shell is brass made, 85 cm tall, 8.8 cm diameter of the round and 12 cm diameter at the base.

At the base there are some letters stamped:
    91
    aux 43
    8,8 cm Flak 41
and a little German eagle with these letters stamped:
    WaA354

If someone is so kind to help me, I'm not an expert although I like very much to read about WWI and WWII facts and to search for war relics in the countryside.

    Thanks in advance!!!

    Hello Zwerge

Thank you very much for the suggestion!

It's strange to have found it here because I live in north east of Italy, near Venice, and during WWII there were no signs of Flak 88 in this part of the country, maybe it came from Monte Cassino battlefields or from East Europe...

PS, does anybody know the value of this shell?
    Thanks

    Alvez
