Simply marked '11' and '57'. The rifle it is fired from is about 12 feet long !
It is a live round, and is 15.5 cm long. I've used a dummy 30mm,
a .50 tracer and a beer cap to give some scale.........

Well I have the bang stick which it fits in
Post war of course it was used as an MG round.
