Shell with N marking need I.D. please

Perhaps you could give a couple of measurements,length of case only,diameter of projectile,both in MM`s.

Nothing on the top, the fuze.Surely not German.

nothing on the top,the case is 420 mm long and 85mm wide across the base.

Hmm... I'm not so sure, since that letter doesn't exist in the Cyrillic alphabet. Perhaps it was manufactured by some other country that used the Soviet 85mm gun?

couldnt get a pic but I nearly all wording gone but can make out just 76mm armd c and on the fuse SX1/4A .

looks like a 76mm for the scorpion thats minus the drive band and/or been pushed to far into an older incorrect cartridge,,
Can you double check the markings on the fuze, the records i have show SX134A is the markings on the PRF (plug representing fuze L17)

When I asked for the diameter of the projectile you said it was 85mm across the base?????
