Hello everyone! Received a soviet RGD-33 grenade from a forum member here today. It's a bit of a relic, but makes for a good example of a grenade I didn't really plan to pick up. The complexity and versatility of these soviet grenades are impressive. It's the only grenade I know of that uses a sort of gun-like hammer to start the fuse on the forward motion of throwing the grenade, which will also not start the timer until it is thrown. Complex, no doubt more expensive to produce, but research on these sounds like they were a very good design. If you have time to look them up, it's an interesting read.
