Does anyone know if the SS stamped ammunition was supplied in SS marked clips?

Apparently a university doctor in Holland owns one. There are no known others in existence, and as of yet he has not displayed it publicly, so I leave you to make your own mind up on that score....

I never saw such item...Why not?
curious...will delve more....
I have never seen any but I am highly skeptical. Think about these things:
1. Why would the SS bother marking small bits of metal that are probably all going to be lost or destroyed anyway?
2. Look through the various archaeology threads here, why have diggers never come across one?
3. It seems like an easy way for a faker to make money. Get a bunch of cheap stripper clips, stamp them with an SS marking, and suddenly you have something worth a lot more.
For the reasons listed above I would run away a the phrase, 'SS marked charger clips'. It never hurts to take a look, though...
Isn't there SS marked ammunition?
Well, here is what Ade had to say about SS marked ammunition in another thread:
"As John has already pointed out these are original.
These came about due to the SS having to obtain their own ammo supplies: the Army was unwilling to supply them at this stage through it's supply channels. So contracts were placed by the SS for their own ammo.
Cheers, Ade. "
I just don't know about SS marked stripper clips. If they do exist then they must be incredibly rare.
