    Default Unusual Small Bomblet?

I apologize if this is the wrong forum, but it seems the closest one for my question, I have a small bomblet(?)that was obtained years ago from a WWII vets estate. Hopefully the photos will show more than I can explain. It is small(compared to the $1.00 bill), unscrews at the mid-line, has markings on one fine, and the upper is steel with the finned lower being made of aluminum or other light weight metal. The markings are PI in a circle, 45 mod 39, ZAF(not sure of the last letter) and 1 over 41. So what do I have?Unusual Small Bomblet?[ATTACH=CONFIG]1256839Unusual Small Bomblet?

I believe this is an Italian 'red devil' grenade, fired by the 45mm Brixia light mortar.
