    Hello,
    I was given this shell case by a friend the other day.
    It is dated 1917 with 'POLTE' 'MAGDEBURG' written on the base.
    It is 57cm tall, and caliber appears to be 150-155mm (not too sure as top is slightly bent).
    Any info regarding the gun it would be used in, or photos of complete shells etc, would be much appreciated.

    15cm L/35 german navy. Navy marked M with crown, and dated in roman letter as the month.
