Default WW2 German stick grenade training tool???

Hello I recently aquired this stick grenade I am almost sure it is for training if real. Paint and wood bath have good age. The is a rough texture cork finish well made piece not like modern repro stick grenades. It is marked on the wood. I have no clue about this item I have seen other quite like it but want to find out if it is ww2 or not, any help would be appreciated thanks inadvance

It may have been the intention to simulate a German 'stick grenade,' but in that case the 'war head' is too small IMO.

Ive seen repros, but never one with a small top like that.

Hi.. The markings are all stamped separately,, they are normally stamped in on die set on all M24 even training UB sticks, Will post these piccs later.

    Hi...

Only German stick gren's from WW2 are the M24,M39 Nebel and M43 vatients.. Can post these piccs later for you ?

The makers code on your stick is from the dov Waffenwerke Bruenn, Wsetin plant, Czechoslovakia if this helps.

Where the paint gas chipped away on the top of the metal part,, it looks like new metal.. can you make a clearer photo ?

    Regards Nick

The metal where the paint is gone has some age to it, I think this was just made and someone just forgot about it or it was never used
