Finding one like that is a really good find. Not sure if you noticed the yellow paint under the olive drab. Just prior to WWII some genius general thought that painting grenades bright yellow was a good idea. These were repainted shortly after we started fighting the Japanese. Our Marines and Army personnel found out very quickly that carrying bright yellow grenades in the jungle made excellent targets. I have one of these and it is one of my prized pieces.
