    Default WWI US Dummy Rounds

I picked these up and thought I would share an example of Pre WWI and WWI dummy rounds. These rounds were used for training and are often found with much wear, dents, and dings as these are. There are two with head stamp RA 08, Remington Arms, a civilian contractor for ammunition, and three FA 17 head stamp, Frankford Arsenal, US military manufacturer. I put them in a brass stripper clip to be period correct.

    Very Nice!
My father worked at Frankford Arsenal until it closed in 1977,
After that he went to the Defense Logistic Agency till he retired.
When I was a young boy, I would go with my Mom to pick him up from the Arsenal.
While we waited I would play on the Tank they had on display.
Fond memories come back every time I hear that name...
    Thanks for the flash back!!
